In her last three fights, Valentina “The Bullet” Schevchenko has quickly established herself as a force in the UFC women’s Bantamweight division. With wins over former champion Holly Holm and strong competitor Juliana Pena, she earned herself a title shot against the Champion Amanda Nunes.
Before beginning her MMA career, Valentina was an extremely accomplished Muay Thai fighter. A multi-time champion, fighting all over the world and training out of the famous Tiger Muay Thai gym.

Nick Diaz wearing a Dr Dabber Black Camo Hoody. Nick Diaz is one of my favourite fighters. I enjoy his hardcore attitude combined with his stockton slap style of striking. To me, Nick Diaz represents the early days of MMA. When there was little money in fighting and it was more a lifestyle than it was a business about money fights and super fights. His fights against Robbie Lawler, Paul Daley, and Marius Zaromskis are my favourite. His rivalry against KJ Noons and Frank Shamrock were iconic. He’s a legend in the fight world and his style deserves respect and admiration.

I’m always intrigued by and sometimes try to imitate (however unsuccessfully) the balance between rugged and gentle. Cody Garbrandt’s neck tattoos peeking out from the top of his tailored suits. The mild and gentle nature of a trained killer in GSP. Felice Herrig’s fighter athletic body under her elegant and stylish gowns. An attractive combination of elegance and violence. Now we have one more to add to the list. I noted Kailin Curran recently sporting a Daniel Wellington watch from the Classic Petite line on her instagram.

A fighter’s hands are arguably their most important assets. Whether it’s with combinations, defensive moves, or one punch knock outs, these are the tools that bring them victory in the cage. When training, it is important to know what kind of gloves to use, what size, and what brand.
